  9.      nodefs - find definitions in noweb file
  10.  
  11. SYNOPSIS
  12.      nodefs [-auto _l_a_n_g] [-showauto] file ...
  13.  
  14. DESCRIPTION
  15.      _n_o_d_e_f_s is an auxiliary tool that  produces  output  for  use
  16.      with  the -indexfrom option of _n_o_w_e_a_v_e(_1). _n_o_d_e_f_s searches a
  17.      _n_o_w_e_b file for identifier definitions, printing the identif-
  18.      iers  on  standard  output, one per line.  If the -auto _l_a_n_g
  19.      option  is  given,  _n_o_d_e_f_s  tries  to  discover  definitions
  20.      automatically,  assuming  the program is written in language
  21.      _l_a_n_g.  The -showauto option displays permissible  values  of
  22.      _l_a_n_g, which vary but may include tex or icon.
